What are the Program Track Committees?
Program Tracks provide the structure through which the Coalition's strategies, identified in the Strategic Plan, are accomplished. Each track focuses on a functional or support category of work that the Coalition intends to pursue during the next five-year period. These committees meet on a frequency determined by need within the Committee.
Manage and/or coordinate activities that cut across the other program tracks or involve more than a single program track.
Support the development of a seamless, transparent network of regional, multimodal traveler information systems.
Raise the visibility of safety in all Coalition activities, and facilitate, support, and enhance the coordination and implementation of interagency efforts in response to major incidents. Within this Committee are Regional HOGs groups -- an acronym from the previous committee name of "Highway Operations Group" -- which address regional geographies from Maine to Florida.
Promotes reliable, efficient, and balanced intermodal transportation throughout the Coalition states by supporting leadership, information technology, and operations that improve the intermodal movement of freight and passengers.
